Discover Observable Framework, a platform for building modern, interactive data applications. In this hands-on training, you’ll create a GA4 dashboard using a specially designed workshop template.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a fully functional GA4 dashboard running on Observable Cloud, ready to explore your Google Analytics data.

To get the most out of this workshop, participants should have:

• familiarity with JavaScript
• basic knowledge of HTML and CSS (helpful but not required)
• understanding of Git and GitHub
• a GA4 account with a data stream connected to BigQuery
• experience with VS Code (or any preferred code editor)

During the workshop we will:

• explore the Observable ecosystem (Notebook, Framework, Plot, and Cloud)
• walk through the data stack of the application
• clone the workshop template from GitHub
• take a quick look at GA4 Dataform
• connect to BigQuery and fetch GA4 data
• learn Observable-specific features like data loaders and Plot for visualization
• deploy the dashboard to Observable Cloud (requires a free account)
